Application Process - PhD and MD/PhD

PhD and MD/PhD candidates can apply year round. They must be admitted by the program's admission's and examination's commission and thier PhD project must be approved by the Promotionskommission of Charité. For this purpose, these two commission meet regularly throughout the year.

Essential for admission are the following criteria:

• a solid background in neurosciences (PhD) and medicine (MD/PhD)
• solid PhD project to be presented in a detailed project plan
• an offer of a PhD position by a member of the faculty (e.g. Doktorandenstelle BATIIa/2)
