Module 2: Individual Focus 10 CP

This module allows students to develop scientific expertise based on their individual interest. Students can choose freely from among t seminars, lectures, symposia, journal clubs, workshops an the like offered in Berlin or elsewhere. In sum, students need to accrue 10 CP for this module.

Once during the program, students need to give a 15 min presentation on a topic of their choice. The garde obtained in this presentation makes up the module grade and is based on:

• Structure
• Content
• Time management
• Take-home message
• Quality and effectiveness of slides
• Speech and body language
• Ability to answer questions and argue the point during discussion
