All students are welcome to contact our Program Office for counselling and advice. As the program deliberately caters to an international student body, we pay special attention to the needs of students coming to us from abroad. As part of this service, we assist you with student housing, support you in the visa process when needed, help you to set up a bank account and health insurance, offer you German classes and help you to get comfortable with your new environment.

One week prior to the beginning of Module 1 new students will be introduced to the program, the Charité and the city of Berlin. During that week, we will take care of a number of cumbersome administrative tasks such as registering you with the German authorities (Anmeldung), getting you set up with a bank account and health insurance and getting everyone matriculated.

You will also get to know one another during this time and meet with some of the old students. As you see, it is crucial for you to be here on time to get all these things done before classes start.

If you want to get a first e-taste of your future host country, then check out undefinedCampus-Germany. Here you'll find a lot of information on the German educational system. The section on life in Germany offers useful hints and even audio testimonials.
